We are all entitled to change our minds but I believe, when it comes to Politics, one should stand firm in our beliefs.  I do not like the way Ms. Truss has proved to be such a turncoat.

As a Lib Dem and anti Brexit, and anti Monarchy, she is now hoping to be the next PM of the Tory Party.  I believe she is driven by ambition and not the good of the people.

I used to believe that, on the whole, Politicians joined up with altruistic motives.  I no longer feel this is the case and that the majority become Parliamentarians out of self interest. Even when out of power, they can line up highly paid jobs in the Real World, very often affiliated to businesses whose causes they espoused.
